El Naharda ADIB Shariah-Compliant Money Market Fund operates within a highly conservative investment framework that focuses on preserving liquidity and minimizing risk. The fund allocates its assets to short-term, low-risk Islamic financial instruments within clearly defined limits for each investment channel.

Up to 90% of the fund’s assets may be invested in Sharia-compliant Egyptian treasury bills, alongside the ability to invest in government and corporate Sukuk up to 49%, as well as other Sharia-compliant money market funds up to 40%. In addition, up to 10% of the portfolio may be held in Islamic bank deposits and savings certificates, providing flexibility in liquidity management and supporting stable returns.

The fund also requires that all investments meet a minimum credit quality of BBB, ensuring a controlled risk profile. It adheres to diversification principles by distributing investments across multiple financial institutions, without exceeding regulatory concentration limits per issuer. The investment manager maintains a short portfolio duration to ensure rapid liquidity conversion and efficient handling of redemption requests, reinforcing the fund’s role as a liquidity management tool rather than a vehicle for capital growth.
