About Beltone B-Secure Fixed Income Fund
Beltone B-Secure Fund is an open-ended investment fund with cumulative returns and periodic distributions. It aims to provide a medium-term savings and investment solution by allocating its assets across a diversified range of fixed-income instruments, offering a relatively low-risk investment profile while maintaining daily liquidity through the accrual of cumulative daily returns on invested capital.
According to the investment policy, up to 95% of the invested assets may be allocated to treasury bills, treasury bonds, and government-guaranteed securities, while up to 65% may be invested in corporate bonds and securitization bonds, provided that investments in any single issuance do not exceed 15% of the value of that issuance.
Beltone B-Secure Fund may also invest up to 20% of its assets in money market funds and similar instruments, provided that its holdings do not exceed 5% of the total units of any single fund.
In addition, up to 50% of the fund’s assets may be invested in bank deposits, interest-bearing current accounts, savings certificates, and investment certificates denominated in both local and foreign currencies at banks regulated by the Central Bank of Egypt. The fund may also allocate up to 5% of its invested assets to tradable sukuk.
The fund offers additional flexibility through the ability to invest up to 30% of its assets in future receivables portfolios originated by microfinance and consumer finance institutions, provided that such investments do not exceed 30% of the total financing portfolio of any targeted company, association, or non-governmental organization.
The fund may also invest up to 25% of its assets in other investment instruments subject to the approval of the Financial Regulatory Authority and provided that such investments are consistent with the fund’s investment objective. Furthermore, investments in repurchase agreements (repos) may not exceed 40% of the fund’s total assets.
