Suez Canal Bank Daily Liquidity Money Market Fund (Al Suez Al youmi) is an open-ended money market fund that aims to provide investors with a low-risk savings and investment vehicle offering high liquidity and a cumulative daily return on invested funds. The fund allows daily subscriptions and redemptions, making it suitable for individuals and businesses seeking to manage their short-term liquidity while preserving capital through investments in short- and medium-term debt and money market instruments.
The investment policy of the Suez Daily Fund is based on a set of investment limits designed to balance returns and risk management. The fund may hold up to 75% of its assets in current accounts, bank deposits, and certificates of deposit with banks supervised by the Central Bank of Egypt. It may also invest up to 100% of its invested assets in Egyptian Treasury Bills whenever they offer the best available return.
As part of its diversification strategy, investments in Egyptian Treasury Bonds, corporate bonds, and Sukuk may not exceed 49% of the fund's invested assets. Investments in repurchase agreements (Repos) are limited to 50%, while investments in corporate bonds and Sukuk with a minimum credit rating of BBB- may not exceed 20% of the fund's invested assets. Investments in bank savings certificates are also limited to 10%, subject to the regulations of the Central Bank of Egypt.
Suez Canal Bank Money Market Fund may also invest up to 40% of its assets in units of similar investment funds, subject to a maximum investment of 20% in any single fund.
