Frequently asked
What is the trading pressure archive?
A daily record of every strong buy/sell pressure signal the system detected from per-minute price analysis on EGX stocks. Organized year > month > day for full historical browsing.
How is pressure computed?
The Lee-Ready algorithm classifies each trade as "buyer-initiated" or "seller-initiated" based on price direction. Sum of trades in each direction = buy pressure + sell pressure. Any move crossing a threshold registers as an alert.
How is this different from the live pressure page?
The live pressure page (/egx-trading-flow) shows only today. The archive covers every past trading day at the same detail level, useful for long-horizon trend analysis.
Is the data ever edited after publication?
No. Days are added after market close and never modified. If something goes wrong, we delete the full day rather than rewrite numbers, transparency first.
