EGX Order Book — Live Bid/Ask for All Stocks

The order book shows the highest buy and lowest sell price for every EGX stock in real time — information not available on any public platform in Egypt. The bid/ask spread indicates liquidity: tight spread = active, easy-to-trade stock; wide spread = dormant stock where you'll lose value on every round-trip. Especially useful for day traders and investors in small-cap stocks, because it shows the true cost of a trade before execution.

Frequently asked

What is the order book?

The order book shows the highest buy price (bid) and lowest sell price (ask) for each stock right now. The gap between them — the "spread" — indicates liquidity. Tight spread = active stock, wide spread = dormant stock.

Why does bid/ask matter before I buy?

The price on the ticker is the last executed trade. But if you actually want to buy, you'll pay the ask (higher); to sell, you receive the bid (lower). That gap is a real cost on every trade, especially on illiquid stocks.

How often does the data update?

The order book refreshes every minute during the trading session. You can also view historical data for any prior trading day.

Does it cover all EGX stocks?

Yes — we track bid/ask for essentially the entire active market. Illiquid stocks may occasionally have no bid or ask shown, which the table makes clear.
