About BM Al Hessen Sharia
Banque Misr USD Money Market Fund with Cumulative Daily Yield ( Day by Day Dollar ) is an open-ended investment fund launched by Banque Misr to provide a US dollar-denominated savings and investment vehicle that aims to generate a cumulative daily return while maintaining a high level of liquidity and relatively low investment risk.
The investment strategy of the Banque Misr USD Money Market Fund is based on allocating assets across a range of US dollar-denominated cash instruments and fixed-income securities within specific investment limits. The fund may hold up to 100% of its assets in cash or bank deposits with banks regulated by the Central Bank of Egypt when suitable investment alternatives are unavailable. It may also invest up to 100% of its assets in US dollar-denominated government Treasury Bills.
According to the prospectus, the fund may invest up to 40% of its assets in sovereign US dollar bonds and up to 40% in US dollar bank certificates of deposit. Investments in corporate bonds, commercial papers, and other fixed-income securities issued by companies and banks may not exceed 30% of invested assets, while exposure to any single instrument or issuer is capped at 20%. This diversification helps balance liquidity, return potential, and risk management.
Youm B Youm Dollar Fund is suitable for investors seeking a relatively low-risk US dollar investment with high liquidity and returns that reflect the nature of money market and short-term fixed-income instruments. The fund is available to both Egyptian and foreign individual and institutional investors.
