Bank Al Baraka Egypt Shariah-Compliant Money Market Fund (Al Barakat) aims to provide an investment vehicle that complies with Islamic Sharia principles while offering investors the ability to subscribe and redeem units on a daily basis.
The fund’s strategy is based on investing in short-term Shariah-compliant investment instruments, including treasury bills, government sukuk, corporate sukuk, as well as Islamic bank deposits, Islamic current accounts, and short-term liquidity instruments.
Investors also benefit from tax-exempt returns in accordance with the regulations governing money market investment funds in Egypt .. while all fund investments are reviewed and approved by the Sharia Supervisory Board to ensure full compliance with Islamic Sharia principles.
