Next Bank Daily Yield Money Market Fund (EGP) is an open-ended money market fund designed to provide investors with a low-risk savings and investment vehicle that offers a cumulative daily return while maintaining a high level of liquidity. The fund invests in short-term financial instruments, allowing investors to subscribe to and redeem fund units on a daily basis in accordance with the fund's terms.
The investment strategy of the Next Bank Daily Yield Money Market Fund focuses on money market instruments and highly liquid short-term securities, while adhering to a set of investment limits designed to balance returns and risk management. The fund may hold up to 100% of its assets in current accounts and bank deposits with banks supervised by the Central Bank of Egypt. It may also invest up to 100% of its assets in Egyptian Treasury Bills or short-term certificates issued by the Central Bank of Egypt.
As part of its portfolio diversification policy, investments in Egyptian Treasury Bonds, corporate bonds, and Sukuk may not collectively exceed 49% of the fund's total invested assets. Investments in corporate bonds and Sukuk are limited to 20% of the fund's assets, provided they carry a minimum credit rating of BBB- in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements. In addition, investments in repurchase agreements (repos) may not exceed 40%, while investments in bank savings certificates are capped at 60% of the fund's invested assets, although this limit may be increased if such certificates offer higher returns than other eligible investment instruments.
The Next Bank Money Market Fund may also invest in units of similar investment funds, provided that such investments do not exceed 30% of the fund's total assets. In addition, investments in any single non-government debt sector may not exceed 25% of the fund's total assets, helping to enhance portfolio diversification and reduce concentration risk.
