CI Telecom & IT Sectoral Fund

CI Telecom & IT Sectoral Fund is a specialized investment fund focused on the technology and telecommunications sector within the Egyptian Exchange, and represents the second issuance under the multi-issuance “CI Sector” fund structure.

The fund aims to achieve capital growth over the medium and long term through investing in companies operating in information technology, telecommunications, digital transformation, and technology services, whether the company operates primarily in this sector or generates at least half of its revenues from related activities .. and this sector is considered one of the fastest-growing sectors in Egypt, supported by the continuous expansion of the digital economy.

The investment policy of CI Telecom & IT Sectoral Fund is based on allocating up to 95% of net assets to shares of technology and telecommunications companies listed on the Egyptian Exchange, with the flexibility to reduce this allocation to as low as 40% depending on the investment manager’s outlook and market conditions. The fund may also invest part of its assets in fixed income instruments and liquid assets such as treasury bills, treasury bonds, and bank deposits in order to manage liquidity and reduce short-term market volatility.
