CI Financial and Fintech Sectoral Fund Fund is the fifth issuance of the CI Asset Management fund dedicated to investing in sector-focused equities and specialized funds. It targets investments in companies operating in the financial institutions sector, non-banking financial services, and digital payments within the Egyptian market.
The fund aims to achieve cumulative capital growth through active management focused on selecting companies benefiting from the evolution of digital financial services, such as electronic payments and fintech, leveraging the increasing trend toward digital transformation and financial inclusion in Egypt.
The fund’s investment policy allocates the majority of its assets to equities listed on the Egyptian Exchange within its target sector, with a maximum of 95% of total issuance proceeds, while allowing flexibility to reduce this allocation at the discretion of the investment manager. It may also invest up to 60% in government debt instruments such as treasury bills and bonds, in addition to maintaining up to 10% in cash or bank deposits with institutions regulated by the Central Bank of Egypt.
