About EFG Hermes Fixed Income Fund (USD)
Hermes USD Fixed Income Fund aims to achieve periodic income and cumulative capital growth in US dollars through investing in fixed income instruments and short- to medium-term financial instruments denominated in or linked to the US dollar.
The investment policy of Hermes USD Fund allows investing up to 100% of the issue’s assets in current accounts, deposits, and USD-denominated savings certificates with banks regulated by the Central Bank of Egypt.
The fund may also invest all of its assets in treasury bills, treasury bonds, and USD sovereign bonds. In addition, up to 50% of the assets may be invested in USD-denominated sukuk and corporate bonds, while up to 30% may be invested in USD fixed income instruments approved by the Financial Regulatory Authority. The fund may also invest up to 25% of its assets in units of fixed income funds or money market instruments denominated in US dollars.
Hermes USD Fixed Income Fund offers daily subscription and purchase transactions during official working days, while redemptions are processed on a weekly basis.
