About Beltone B-Yawmy Fund

Beltone B-Yawmy Fund is the third issuance of the Beltone Multi-Issuance Fund for Investment in Fixed Income Instruments, and is referred to in the issuance memorandum as “Beltone Daily Cumulative Return B-Yawmy.” It is characterized by calculating a daily cumulative return on invested funds, while allowing the purchase and redemption of investment units on a daily basis in accordance with the terms and timings specified in the issuance memorandum. It is classified as a low-risk fund, and its investments are restricted to the local market and denominated in Egyptian pounds.

The issuance aims to provide a savings and investment vehicle that invests in financial instruments available in the local market, including debt instruments issued by the government, banks, and companies, Treasury bills, bank savings certificates, and units of other money market funds. The investment policy focuses on achieving a daily cumulative return on invested funds, while providing the necessary liquidity by allowing the purchase and redemption of investment units on a daily basis in accordance with the provisions of the memorandum.

The issuance may invest up to 100% of its invested funds in Treasury bills, while investments in Egyptian Treasury bonds may not exceed 40% of the invested funds.

Investments in corporate bonds and/or financing sukuk issued by companies with a credit rating no lower than the acceptable threshold specified in the memorandum, namely (-BBB), may not exceed 40% of the issuance’s invested funds. Investments in Egyptian Treasury bonds, corporate bonds, financing sukuk, and all other medium- and long-term debt instruments combined may not exceed 49% of the issuance’s invested funds.

The issuance may invest up to 10% of its invested funds in bank savings certificates, while investments in deposits and savings certificates combined with any single entity, other than government entities, public business sector entities, or public-sector banks, may not exceed 40% of the issuance’s invested funds.

The memorandum sets the maximum maturity of any investment at 396 days, while the weighted average maturity of the investment portfolio may not exceed 150 days. The investment policy also adheres to diversification requirements, whereby investment in any single issuance may not exceed 10% of the issuance’s net assets, except for government securities.
