The investment strategy of Target Fund is based on building a diversified portfolio of fixed-income instruments, including Treasury bills, government bonds, corporate bonds, sukuk, and other debt instruments permitted under applicable regulations. Investments in bank deposits, certificates of deposit, and current accounts may not exceed 80% of the fund’s total assets. With respect to long-term debt instruments, total investments in Treasury bonds, corporate bonds, and financing sukuk may not exceed 70% of the fund’s assets. Investments in repurchase agreements (Repos) are also capped at 50% of total assets.
The investment manager is committed to investing only in securities with appropriate credit quality, requiring a minimum credit rating of BBB- in accordance with the standards approved by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).
