About Al Khabeer Fund - Export Development Bank of Egypt
Al Khabeer Fund is an open-ended investment fund launched by the Export Development Bank of Egypt. It aims to achieve the highest possible investment return at an acceptable level of risk through investing in a diversified portfolio that includes equities, bonds, and local investment fund units.
The fund’s investment policy allows it to allocate between 5% and 95% of its net assets to equities listed on the Egyptian Exchange and the Nile Exchange, while maintaining cash liquidity and short-term financial instruments representing no less than 5% of total assets.
Al Khabeer Fund also adheres to a number of risk management and diversification rules. It may not invest more than 15% of its net assets in securities issued by a single entity, nor allocate more than 20% of its assets to a single investment fund. In addition, non-government securities must have a minimum credit rating of BBB before the fund can invest in them.
