Al Raeed Fund ( Pioneers Fund 1 )

Al Raeed Fund follows a flexible investment approach that allows the investment manager to allocate assets among equities, bonds, sukuk, fixed-income instruments, and cash based on market conditions and available opportunities, with the objective of achieving balanced capital growth while reducing concentration risk and enhancing diversification.

According to the fund’s investment policy, up to 90% of the fund’s total assets may be invested in equities, bonds, sukuk, and investment fund units. Investments in bonds and sukuk may not exceed 30% of the fund’s assets, while investments in other investment funds are capped at 20% of total invested assets and may not exceed 5% of the net asset value of any single underlying fund.

Al Raeed Fund is also required to maintain at least 10% of its assets in cash or short-term liquid instruments that can be readily converted into cash, including bank deposits, savings certificates, treasury bills, and treasury bonds. This helps ensure sufficient liquidity to meet redemption requests and maintain operational flexibility. In addition, the fund is not permitted to invest in investment funds established outside the Arab Republic of Egypt or in closed-end investment funds listed on the stock exchange.
